I'm off the the 30th Shetland Folk Festival! Woohoo!
3hr train to Aberdeen, overnight ferry. 3 nights of amazing gigs, staying at Casa Davis. Fingers crossed we'll see some puffins this time! Irish puffins were rad, but very, very far away.
Mum arrives on the 2nd- hooray! I'm leaving her in the capable hands of Lyall, Lily, Jess and Niki until I return on Tuesday. Then exam on Wednesday. Then I'll tell you all aboot the trip north. And I owe you Wales and Ireland, too!
