William Wallace is a Judas Priest fan
A big day out in Edinburgh.
A look at the uni, The Royal Mile and JK Rolling's stomping ground, a hearty meal at The Mosque, castle peaking and vintage clothes shopping. I can understand why tourists go to Edinburgh before Glasgow; it's relatively compact and very, very pretty.
Lots of buskers. Here are my favourites.
Apologies for poor videoing.
Cliff from Oklahoma, a man of baffling eccentricities, talks to William Wallace outside Edinburgh Castle. As the video cuts out, Wallace reels off a list of gigs and in which year he saw the epic bands play.
Sax under a bridge. Amazing acoustics. Average footage.

Gone To Scotland
Scotland.
I've managed to navigate my way through some almost unintelligible accents on the icy and uneven footpaths of Glasgow without sustaining serious injury.
I've found a little posse of very cool people who're also on exchange with me here at Glasgow Uni and together we've conquered Arran, Edinburgh and the West End.
Through stars aligning or some unlikely twist of fate I've landed a rad housemate with the best sense of humour, funkiest accent, and maddest skills on the deckzzz. Word. Through him I've met some quirky locals and visited some rorly noice Glaswegian drinking holes. Aye.
After tasting some amazing Orkney Fudge Cheesecake and other home cooked delights from the otherworldly Shetland Island, I think I'm ready to move away from my staple Rivita and hummus or ham and cheese sangas.
I've drank whiskey from the Islands and eaten haggis from God Knows Where.
Plus I witnessed hundreds of men- most of whom where dressed as trashy women but some as Vikings- draw out the sun on the waning side of winter by lighting the biggest bonfire that ever there was in a dragon long boat in the town playground and an Almighty Piss-up to last 24 hours.
Good month!
Du kens da wy, lass, du kens da wy.
